Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Mimarr uses, and why. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let a website remember information about your visit, like whether you're signed in.
2. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session / auth cookies | Keep you signed in (httpOnly access & refresh tokens). | Access token: 30 min · Refresh token: 7 days |
| csrftoken | Protects unsafe requests (POST/PUT/DELETE) from cross-site forgery. | 1 year |
| theme | Remembers your light/dark mode preference. | Until changed |
| Product analytics (PostHog) | Understand feature usage so we can improve the product. | Up to 1 year |
3. Essential vs. optional cookies
Authentication and CSRF-protection cookies are essential — the Service can't function without them, so they can't be turned off while you're signed in. Analytics cookies are optional and only used to understand aggregate feature usage, never to identify you individually to third parties.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in to Mimarr.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Check back here for the latest version.
