Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mimarr ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our project management software for architecture and design firms (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information — name, email address, and workspace details you provide when you sign up.
  • Content you create — projects, tasks, budgets, client records, comments, and files you or your team upload to the Service.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the Service, collected automatically to help us fix bugs and improve features.
  • Payment information — processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Send transactional emails (invites, notifications, billing receipts).
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), each bound by their own confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

4. Data within your workspace

Project data, client records, and budgets you create belong to your workspace and are only visible to members you invite, scoped by the permissions you assign. Client portal users only see the projects explicitly shared with them.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your workspace, we remove your data from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@mimarr.app to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and scoped access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
